Individual Therapy
In the quiet spaces of our inner world, we often encounter the deep questions of who we truly are and how we navigate the complexities of life. Individual therapy, when viewed through the lens of depth psychology, is a journey into these profound layers of the psyche—an invitation to explore the wisdom hidden within our unconscious that can guide us toward greater self-awareness and transformation.
My approach is rooted in depth psychology, informed by attachment theory and somatic therapy. Our struggles are shaped by powerful unconscious forces: the relational patterns we internalized early in life and the nervous system states that organize our experience beneath awareness. Attachment patterns—how we learned to seek closeness, manage distance, and navigate safety—live in both body and psyche as unconscious organizing principles. Our autonomic nervous system carries implicit memories of threat and safety, shaping how we show up in relationships, often outside conscious awareness.
The work of depth psychology is to make the unconscious conscious. Through an attachment lens, we bring awareness to relational blueprints handed down through generations—patterns of connection, rupture, and repair. Through a somatic lens, we tune into the body's wisdom, recognizing how the nervous system holds what words cannot. By attending to bodily sensations, activation patterns, and the felt sense of safety or threat, we access unconscious material that shapes our emotional and relational lives. This integration allows us to not only understand our patterns intellectually but to feel them, metabolize them, and transform them.
We balance depth with action. While understanding the unconscious is vital, real change occurs when we bring that understanding into conscious, embodied action. We'll explore the roots of your challenges—early attachment wounds, unconscious beliefs, nervous system dysregulation—and work together to apply new insights in real-time through coping strategies, regulation skills, and relational tools.
You will learn how to:
Recognize inherited relational patterns and limiting beliefs, reframing them into perspectives that foster freedom and possibility
Develop nervous system awareness and regulation, learning to track your body's signals and shift from reactivity into presence and choice
Build emotional resilience by processing difficult emotions somatically, allowing them to become sources of wisdom
Practice relational tools rooted in secure attachment—co-regulation, healthy boundaries, compassionate communication
Cultivate embodied presence, becoming more attuned to your inner world, your relationships, and the world around you
This work is about creating lasting change that emerges from deep understanding and conscious, embodied action. It's not simply about solving problems—it's about becoming whole. It's about finding the courage to confront the unknown, integrating the lessons held in psyche and body, and stepping into a future that is empowered, purposful, and deeply connected to your innermost truth.
